COURSE TUTOR: Adrienne Craddock – print and paint
Adrienne loves to draw and make images from both life and from story. She makes use of many different printmaking processes and likes to explore new techniques. Having been born and brought up in the Welsh borders, she has a connection to these landscapes and animals which are the inspiration and subject for her work.
This workshop called Birds and Words will explore making playful, illustrational images of birds or creatures with reference to Rhymes and Stories and Adrienne’s own prints. You will make a collagraph – a printed collage plate – that you can take impressions from.
You will be ‘drawing with scissors’, cutting, arranging and sticking to creating a textured relief printing plate which will then be printed through Adrienne’s portable etching press.
All materials and tools included.
