Jamie’s Farm
Jamie’s Farm uniquely blends Farming, Family, Therapy and Legacy into a transformative 5-day residential programme with follow-up support. Our impact is testament to this, revealing that young people leave the farm better equipped to thrive academically, socially and emotionally during their school years and beyond.
Situated in the Golden Valley, within easy reach of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, young people who visit Jamie's Farm Hereford benefit from opportunities to hike in the wilds of the Black Mountains, care for farm animals, take part in therapeutic horse work, chop logs to fuel the biomass boiler, and hand carve locally felled wood.
The farm will host morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday 22nd March 2025 for young people to work with their green woodworking specialist, Roger Ings, who will support participants to carve a spatula to take home with them.
